Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) or Family Practice team at Southeastern Integrated Care LLC. This role requires a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide person-centered services to beneficiaries, addressing their diverse needs and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the medication system in conjunction with the psychiatrist, administer and document medication treatment.
  • Screen and monitor beneficiaries for medical problems and side effects, including nursing assessments and completion of AIMS.
  • Build rapport and engagement with beneficiaries.
  • Engage in health promotion, prevention, and education activities.
  • Develop strategies to maximize medication adherence with beneficiaries, as needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate services with other medical providers.
  • Educate the team on monitoring psychiatric symptoms and medication side-effects.
  • Provide crisis response to beneficiaries experiencing a crisis.
  • Attend daily ACT team meetings and actively participate.
  • Prepare and administer oral medications, as prescribed.
  • Direct and supervise LPN staff.
  • Accurately document all billable encounters into Southeastern Integrated Care's EMR system within 24 hours.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse position oversees Nurse (LPN) staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience working with adults with serious mental illness.
  • Associate's Degree of Nursing for (RN).
  • Valid NC Nursing License or Compact License that allows practice in NC.
  • Copy of a valid, unrestricted NC Driver's license, proof of insurance.
