The Floor Tech, also known as a Floor Maintenance Specialist, is a vital member of our team at Life Care Center of Attleboro. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and attractiveness of our facility floors, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning of facility floors, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Customer Service: Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, providing a clean and comfortable environment for them.
- Evacuation Assistance: Assist in the evacuation of patients in case of an emergency.
- Attendance and Reliability: Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance and concentrate on tasks, using reasoning skills and good judgment.
- Teamwork: Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively with other staff members.
- Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent preferred, with prior health care experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action, knowledgeable of practices and procedures, and able to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
