Highlights of the Role:

· Department: Interventional Radiology Lab

· Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for candidates with over 1 year of experience, $15,000 for those with less than 1 year

· Work Schedule: Options for 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts

· Starting Pay Rate: $30.91 per hour

· Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts

Qualifications:

ARRT certification is required, with a preference for CCI credential in Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients accurately for procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any irregularities.
  • Assist in complex interventional procedures.
  • Support vascular surgery cases as necessary.
  • Handle billing and coding for performed procedures.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a state of alertness and safety at all times.
  • Participate in on-call duties with a required response time.

Education and Experience:

Minimum requirement is an Associate's degree or completion of a Radiology Certification Program. While no experience is necessary, two years of experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves constant standing and walking, frequent lifting and moving of patients, and the use of protective gear during procedures.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additional ARRT-VI certification is preferred but not mandatory.
