As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing stress analysis using finite element tools and developing technical reports to present results.

This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of current and evolutionary aircraft and weapons systems across various divisions/business units, including Air Dominance, Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers, and Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic structural analysis using well-defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
  • Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 2+ years' experience performing stress analysis using finite element tools.
  • Ability to develop technical reports and present results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.
  • Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
  • 2+ years' experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis.
  • Boeing analysis tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation) experience.
