- Provide care for patients in a telemetry setting, ensuring accurate monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
- Assist with various procedures and provide care for patients with vents, groin care, and chest tubes.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care.
- Participate in emergency response situations, demonstrating proficiency in managing dysrhythmias and cardiovascular emergencies.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The telemetry unit has an average census of 36 patients, with a room-to-bed ratio of 1:4. Coverage for every other weekend is required, and there is no call obligation.
Additional Information- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
- RTO must be included in the submission, with no time off allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
- All required documentation, including a government-issued photo ID and emergency contact form, must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment.
