We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on our busy cardiac/surgical/telemetry floor.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients on the cardiac/surgical/telemetry floor, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred; Epic experience required.
- Previous experience working on a cardiac/surgical/telemetry floor.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
