MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to fill a travel position in Randallstown, Maryland.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified professional to operate CT equipment, produce high-quality images, and assist radiologists with imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls of the related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
