Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage pain in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Provide education and training to patients and families on occupational therapy procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan for patient discharge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Occupational Therapist License required.
  • 0-1 years of related work experience in Occupational Therapy, with specialization in Hand Therapy for at least one year.
  • Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Hand Therapy.

Physical Nature of the Job:

This is a heavy work position that requires exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently. Work is physically demanding and requires extended periods of standing and/or moving.
