Job Title: Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

Open Bionics is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art prosthetic solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to Open Bionics customers in accordance with our core values.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to Hero Arm users on using their upper limb prosthesis.
  • Educate and certify prosthetic care providers on the Hero Arm fitting process.
  • Track performance via customer feedback, metrics, and data from our ERP system.
  • Review potential users' eligibility to the Hero Arm and support trials with clinical partners.
  • Coordinate clinical input to ease the adoption rate, prescription, and funding application of the Hero Arm.
  • Provide internal clinical input to Open Bionics developers on product development.
  • Participate in relevant consumer or trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Contribute to clinical research projects/publications.
  • Take an active role in research and development projects of new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Certified Prosthetist with recent graduation or 1-5 years of experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
  • Evidence-based practice approach to patient care with a demonstrable understanding of Open Bionics' vision.
  • Proficient with methods of shape capture and rectification.
  • Ability to outline an appropriate prosthetic prescription for upper limb absence.
  • Excellent patient care and high motivation to give patients the best experience possible.
  • Dedication to creating successful patient outcomes defined by the patient.
