About the Role

River Rock Dental is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at our Southpark location. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health and wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the use of fluoride products.
  • Oral Health Assessments: Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Periodontal Disease Prevention: Recognize and treat periodontal disease, including scaling and root planing procedures.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Interact with patients in a positive and professional manner, providing empathetic and compassionate care.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the dental team in communicating patient care and treatment plans.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Take diagnostically acceptable radiographs and intraoral photos.
  • Sterilization Techniques: Properly sterilize equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Experienced dental hygienists preferred.
  • Certification: Must have RDH certification from the state of Texas.
  • Skills: Proven skills in performing prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing procedures.
  • Charting and Documentation: Knowledge of chart dentition, including perio charting and treatment documentation.
  • Practice Guidelines: Comply with practice guidelines and standards.
  • Cavitron Use: Demonstrate proper use of cavitron equipment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate oral hygiene instructions and dispense proper oral hygiene aids.
Benefits

River Rock Dental offers a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, paid company holidays, uniform allowance, and 401k matching. A sign-on bonus of $1500 is also offered, with $750 paid on the first check and an additional $750 after 90-day probationary period. A 12-month commitment is required, with the full bonus deducted from the final check if the employee leaves prior to the anniversary date.
