We are seeking a Lead Environmental Project Manager specializing in NEPA to join our Environmental Services Team.

The primary responsibilities of the Lead Environmental Project Manager include acting as the environmental authority and project supervisor throughout various phases of project execution, encompassing environmental planning, NEPA documentation, and permitting processes. Strong communication, technical writing, and project management abilities are essential, along with the capacity to mentor team members in their professional development.

As the environmental authority on a range of NEPA documentation and environmental initiatives, this role may also involve:

  • Developing and supporting the creation of environmental documents, resource assessments, and permit submissions.
  • Gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data.
  • Producing technical memoranda and reports.
  • Preparing for and engaging in public information sessions and hearings.
  • Conducting quality control and assurance on environmental documents.
  • Guiding junior staff members towards their growth and success.
  • Exhibiting excellent verbal, technical writing, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work autonomously in a self-directed manner while also collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Possessing knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferred) in Environmental Policy, Environmental Science, Environmental Resource Management, Biology, or Botany.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and local environmental regulations and processes involving agencies such as FAA, NRCS, USACE, EPA, USFWS, NOAA, and FHWA.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of the NEPA process and environmental document preparation.
  • Proven ability to accurately analyze information, make informed decisions, lead projects to completion, and meet deadlines.
  • A well-organized team player capable of coordinating with project team members to ensure timely and quality work.

Salary Range:

The salary range begins at $85,000 - $130,000, contingent upon experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Jub LLC offers an attractive benefits package that includes insurance options, bonuses, and ownership opportunities for eligible employees, along with a flexible work schedule in a team-centered, collaborative, and supportive environment.
