Job Overview:
We are seeking caring and compassionate direct support professionals to join our team. As a direct support staff member, you will work in group homes, providing daily living assistance, including general housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, medication management, outing activities, transportation, and personal care needs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and assist with food shopping.
- Provide companionship and social interaction to promote emotional well-being.
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (less than 6 points), and the ability to pass a physical and drug screen, as well as a background check.
