About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a mobile radiologic technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient locations
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, and body part
  • Ensure safe work practices, including radiation safety and ALARA principles
  • Process images and review them for diagnostic quality
  • Transmit images and documentation in a timely manner
  • Complete forms and maintain records, visit logs, and reports
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment and systems
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
