We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our home care team at ComForCare.


Job Summary:

The Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides personalized care and support services to clients in their residences, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, nail and skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercises, and safe use of equipment and assistive devices.
  • Companion/Sitter/Household Management: Provide companionship and respite services for family members, as well as perform homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Medication Assistance Services: Assist clients with medication management, under the supervision and delegation of a registered nurse.


Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion and empathy for clients and their families
