Key Information:

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence as necessary to meet business needs. Travel expenses incurred for on-site attendance will be reimbursed. Candidates located within a reasonable commuting distance to Jacksonville, FL are preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

The Accountant II role operates under established policies and procedures, allowing for some discretion in prioritizing tasks while ensuring compliance with standards. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting accounting and controllership activities for financial analysis, reporting, and account management.
  • Identifying and addressing issues in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Proposing and implementing continuous process enhancements.
  • Performing complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts and investigating discrepancies.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on various initiatives and projects.
  • Complying with all relevant policies and procedures aligned with Corporate Finance's strategic objectives.
  • Providing consultative support on processes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing workflows to optimize outputs, including collaboration with subsidiaries on intercompany balances.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting department.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and account-level variance analysis.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies in finance and accounting.

Salary Range:
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $57,200 - $71,500.
Annualized Salary Range: $57,200 - $93,000, reflecting long-term growth potential for this role.

Final compensation will be determined based on market competitiveness, internal equity, and the candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience.
