Job Overview

Forms+Surfaces Inc is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural and site products used in high-profile commercial and public projects around the world. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of our growing Pittsburgh manufacturing team, responsible for operating CNC machinery to increase production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality products
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Fill out quality documents to maintain production standards
  • Learn and adapt to new machinery and processes
  • Perform basic carpentry skills and use hand tools to complete tasks
  • Measure and calculate materials to ensure accurate production
  • Stand for at least 5 to 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Create quality pallets, crates, and cardboard boxes for shipping
Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Basic math skills and ability to measure and calculate materials
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new machinery and processes
  • Basic carpentry skills and ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
