Certification Requirements
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification (within one year of hire).
  • PALS required (within one year of hire).
  • Successful completion of arrhythmia competency (within 6 months of hire).
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU setting.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing directors, and coworkers about patient clinical conditions.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
  • Administer medications correctly based on patient age and clinical condition.
  • Conduct thorough head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassess as needed.
  • Revise patient care plans daily to ensure effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement teaching plans based on patient learning needs.
  • Utilize pain management assessment techniques.
  • Perform treatments and provide services requiring technical and manual skills.
Requirements
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification (within one year of hire).
  • PALS required (within one year of hire).
  • Successful completion of arrhythmia competency (within 6 months of hire).
  • Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia identification.
Schedule and Unit Information
  • Employees are expected to report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Complete work within designated time frames.
  • Interact professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain good working relationships within the department and with other departments.
  • Operate equipment safely and correctly.
  • Coordinate and supervise patient care as needed.
