Electrical Installation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our installation or service team in Maine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble all components of a residential solar system
  • Work with the crew to complete Photovoltaic system installs (PV)
  • Follow safe work practices and ensure that the work is performed in a workmanlike manner, compliant with all State and local codes and standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
  • Provide quality customer service throughout the installation
  • Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
  • Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete

Requirements:

  • Journeyman or Limited Electrician Licensed Required
  • Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
  • Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
  • Must maintain a valid drivers license
  • Use time prioritization skills to achieve required timelines
  • Ability to read and interpret single and three-line drawings

Physical Demands and Abilities:

  • Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects
  • Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
  • Stand, walk, or run for long periods of time
  • Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles
  • Repeatedly kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, crawl, or reach out
