About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Compliance Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy in our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain workflow in the department to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions.
  • Verify correct dosage and ensure compliance with all Omnicare, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags.
  • Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions in a timely manner.
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
Requirements
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
  • One (1) year or more of pharmacy technician experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • PTCB National Certification.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service setting.
