Position Summary:
The Electromechanical Production Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all assigned production tasks are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. This role requires a solid understanding of electromechanical assembly processes and the ability to adapt to various production needs without compromising product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with company standards.
  • Follow assembly instructions and specifications for assigned tasks.
  • Prepare and organize parts according to production orders.
  • Assemble and package products as required.
  • Utilize tools effectively for electromechanical assembly.
  • Perform additional duties as needed based on operational demands.
  • Comply with health, safety, and fire regulations; identify and report potential hazards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in job assignments based on workload.
  • Lift a minimum of 40 lbs as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical assembly practices.
  • Familiarity with Bill of Materials.
  • Ability to use measurement tools accurately.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a drug-free environment and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the assembly of electromechanical devices.
  • Understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in the use of production and assembly tools.
  • Knowledge of Kanban and lean manufacturing principles.

The physical demands and work environment are representative of those encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Employees are required to frequently use hands and fingers and must communicate effectively with others. Specific vision requirements include close vision. Proficiency in operating necessary equipment, including forklifts, is required.
