Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Truck Drivers: Assist truck drivers with unloading and loading trucks, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and secured.
  • Material Handling: Move products from one location to another, using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
  • General Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping floors, shoveling sidewalks, and performing other tasks as directed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects, and report any issues to management.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; occasionally sit, kneel, and climb; regularly stoop, bend, squat, reach, turn, and twist body; lift up to 35 pounds unassisted, and up to 70 pounds with assistance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable, but not necessary.
  • On-the-Job Training: On-the-job training will be provided to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the job requirements.
  • Good Work Habits: You must have good work habits, including an acceptable attitude and punctuality.
  • Physical Endurance: You must be able to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted, and up to 70 pounds with assistance.

Benefits

After 90 days of employment, you will be eligible for benefits, including agency-paid life insurance and vision insurance, vacation, sick leave, holidays, and participation in group health and dental programs with biweekly co-pay.
