Job Summary:

As a key member of The Chefs' Warehouse team, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the dispatch of drivers and vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage daily records and reports to track agency and helper activity.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hand trucks and update spreadsheets accordingly.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and phone messages in a timely manner.
  • Assist drivers with directions, roadside assistance, and other issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or transportation preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
