About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Facility Operator to join our team at Sentech. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for operating the waste treatment facility, treating and disposing of accumulated waste, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with hazardous waste regulations.

This role involves working with various equipment, including hi-lo equipment, and maintaining a clean workstation and other shop areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat and dispose of waste daily.
  • Maintain equipment, including lubrication, press cleaning, and stagnant rinse changes.
  • Record disposal schedules and track manifests.
  • Treat waste solutions and dispose of them per Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Perform chemical additions to tanks as directed by lab personnel.
  • Oversee hazardous waste management.
  • Record and test data from the Ion Exchange and RO units daily.
  • Operate hi-lo equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and other shop areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $38,400 per year based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming the hourly rate remains constant.
