Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach and mentor residents in graduate medical education, promoting clinical excellence and scholarly activity.

2. Maintain an educational environment conducive to resident learning, administering and maintaining an environment that fosters growth and development.

3. Provide direct patient care, precept residents, and maintain clinical skills through extended hours and dedicated time.

4. Foster an environment of inquiry and scholarship, with an active research component, and encourage residents to engage in scholarly activities.

5. Participate in organized clinical discussions, rounds, journal clubs, and conferences, and support residents in their professional growth and development.
