MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and a competitive pay package. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will provide technical assistance to the IR team and perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders.
  • Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Requirements
  • Current License in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
