Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Daikin. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Load and Unload Products: Safely load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate product and quantity.
- Maintain Logs and Reports: Maintain required logs and reports to ensure compliance with DOT and Company policies.
- Operate Forklift and Delivery Trucks: Safely operate forklifts and delivery trucks to transfer, load, and unload products.
- Perform Pre-Check and Post-Check Operations: Perform pre-check and post-check operations of Company vehicles and forklifts to ensure safety and compliance.
- Notify Manager of Incidents: Notify the manager immediately of any accidents, damage, or violations.
- Safe Driving Skills: Proven ability to safely operate a flat bed or box truck.
- DOT Standards: Must meet and pass DOT standards.
- Forklift Training: Ability to successfully pass forklift training and delivery truck driving tests.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and surroundings.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commercial Driving Experience: 2+ years of warehouse/logistics experience and current valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
This role requires daily travel to/from branch and customer sites by driving company truck. Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
