Job Summary

The Merchandiser is a key member of our team at Performance Food Group, responsible for ensuring our customers' stores are properly stocked and presented. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing and Merchandising: Assist in the training of new team members on how to properly price and set customer shelving, ensuring accurate and efficient execution.
  • Store Layout and Design: Assist in creating customer store layouts upon request, including placing orders, arranging delivery, and physically pricing and merchandising products at the customer's store.
  • Inventory Management: Submit proper forms for employee reimbursement, such as travel, auto, gas, per diem, hotel, etc., and assist in maintaining inventory of merchandising supplies.
  • Event Support: Participate in company annual shows by setting up and tearing down of the convenience store display.
  • Record Keeping: Record unsalable merchandise when re-setting customer stores, ensuring customers receive accurate credit.
  • Logistics Support: Assist when necessary in delivering and unloading orders and returns.
