Bristol-Myers Squibb is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and developing innovative treatments for patients with serious diseases. We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist, IT Laboratory Systems to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for laboratory and manufacturing benchtop IT systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced GMP manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for laboratory benchtop equipment and IT systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and IT hardware.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of laboratory software and hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and laboratory protocols.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and support activities.
  • Assist in the training of laboratory personnel on the use of IT systems and equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory technology and IT systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and IT systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within a laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory software and hardware is a plus.
  • Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
