Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Parkview North Hospital. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist RNs with patient care, including vital signs and activities of daily living
  • Participate in delegated patient care under the direct supervision of an RN Preceptor
  • Manage resources, supplies, and equipment within the department
  • Provide unit-related services as specified by the department
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 17 years old and interested in a career in nursing
  • Prefer current high school students enrolled in or those who have completed a health careers occupations program of study
  • Must not yet be accepted or enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program at a university
  • Current CPR BLS certification required
  • Previous experience or program of study in direct patient care is preferred
