Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Adult Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities- Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Incorporate knowledge of patient's age-specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree.
