About the Role

At DoorDash, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you'll play a key role in guiding a team of 2-10 employees through daily operations, ensuring a high-quality experience for customers and promoting a positive work environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily operations, including delegating tasks and ensuring the team is set up for success
  • Providing real-time feedback to team members and partnering with Site Managers for next steps
  • Assisting with day-to-day tasks, such as receiving product from vendors and preparing customer orders
  • Delighting customers by maintaining menus and systems, communicating with customers when issues arise, and ensuring Dasher pickups go smoothly
  • Facilitating facility management, including monitoring supplier deliveries and managing regular cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • Contributing ideas to improve our quality and customer experience
