We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America for an immediate travel opening in Louisville, KY.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and be certified in magnetic resonance imaging. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for the use of magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
- Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
- Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
- Assist radiologists with procedure performance
- Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
- 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
- State-specific licensing when required
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
