We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Medicine team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and interventions as needed.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care transitions and efficient workflow.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Certification in clinical specialty area.
- Experience working in emergency medicine or a related field.
