Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those who have undergone cardiovascular surgery or are receiving device therapies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Illinois Board of Nursing license.
  • One year of experience in a critical care or cardiovascular ICU setting.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
