Job Summary

The Loader Operator will be responsible for operating a 980 CAT Loader to transport materials to and from storage and processing areas. This role requires experience loading trucks on unpaved surfaces and running other heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety procedures and be able to work independently within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate 980 CAT loader to transport materials to and from storage and processing areas.
  • Inspect equipment prior to operation for any safety or maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the loader such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
  • Create and maintain inclines and ramps to excavated materials.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Six months to one year of experience as a loader operator or similar role.
  • Experience running other heavy equipment is a plus.
Working Conditions

The Loader Operator will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, reaching and climbing. The position will occasionally require climbing of ladders and steps. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
