Microbiology Specialist

As a Reprocessing and Sterilization Laboratory Scientist at KARL STORZ Endoscopy - America, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of medical devices. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting validation and maintenance of reprocessing and sterilization equipment
• Developing and refining standard operating procedures to enhance lab efficiency
• Delivering comprehensive training to laboratory personnel on procedures, practices, and equipment use

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, microbiology, biology, or related field, or relevant certification with 5+ years of direct lab experience in reprocessing reusable medical devices
• 2-5 years of experience in a regulated GMP or GLP laboratory environment
• Expertise in analytical lab test methods and data analysis, particularly in protein, hemoglobin, and carbohydrate detection
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel for data analysis
