Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing an engaging visual arts curriculum for students with diverse skill levels. This will involve developing innovative art initiatives, providing constructive feedback, and offering personalized guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and execute a comprehensive visual arts curriculum that caters to students' varying skill levels and interests.
  • Artistic Mentorship: Offer constructive feedback and personalized guidance to students to enhance their artistic abilities and skills.
  • Program Planning: Collaborate with fellow instructors to organize interdisciplinary projects and events that enrich students' arts education experience.
  • Exhibition Management: Plan and manage art exhibitions to showcase students' work within the local community, celebrating their artistic achievements.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in the visual arts field to enhance teaching methodologies and provide cutting-edge knowledge to students.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching visual arts to young students is required.
  • Proficient in a variety of art mediums including painting, drawing, and sculpture is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students effectively are necessary.
  • Capable of creating and implementing an art curriculum that promotes both creativity and skill enhancement.
