  • Post payments, adjustments, and denials.
  • Review patient and payer A/R and perform follow-up to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Knowledge of CMS and third-party payer guidelines for billing claims.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree, billing certification, or at least 2 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Practice Management Software.
  • Private, Medicare, and Medicaid Insurance.
  • CPT, ICD-9 and 10, and HCPCS coding.
  • Medical/dental Terminology.
  • Data Entry.
