Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to assist patients with therapy activities and exercises, providing a supportive and caring environment for them to recover and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with therapy activities and exercises as scheduled in a treatment plan
  • Monitor and record patient progress, providing documentation to the physical therapist
  • Implement and modify therapeutic activities and interventions as needed
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment
