At the University of Miami, we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team in the department of Patient Access. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the assigned clinic's front desk, ensuring that all patients, customers, visitors, and staff are well served by providing a pleasant and organized atmosphere that is appropriate for all ages, ethnic groups, and physical handicaps.

  • Orients, trains, evaluates, and monitors registration staff using positive reinforcement and recognition.
  • Ensures that staff members adhere to all established policies and procedures.
  • Assists with planning, organizing, and scheduling to accommodate daily expected volumes.

This role requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of establishing department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan and effectively planning, delegating, and/or supervising the work of others.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of relevant experience. You should also possess proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Office, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The University of Miami offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from diverse candidates.
