We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg Float team at Cobb Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals, using effective communication methods and timely documentation.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, modeling the professional practice of nursing and creating a healthy work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or eligibility for compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
