Nurse Practitioner

As a Registered Nurse 2 at CAMC Health System, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the attainment of patient and departmental goals. Your clinical skills and critical thinking abilities will enable you to identify and meet patient needs, achieving positive patient outcomes through effective group process and leadership traits.
Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Utilize the nursing process to manage patient care, demonstrating consistent use of critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve positive patient outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Knowledge and Skills:
Develop and maintain knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care to patients. Identify personal learning needs and independently perform advanced skills, while assisting others to develop skills using the teaching/learning process.
Professional Relationships/Leadership:
Demonstrate leadership traits that contribute to the attainment of patient and departmental goals. Initiate and effectively demonstrate behaviors that result in positive patient outcomes through group process, identifying the need to change own practice based on PI/QI outcomes.
Quality Improvement/Research:
Expand understanding of research process and its application to nursing practice. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that improve patient outcomes.
Education and Credentials:
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- Registered Nurse (Required)
- Basic Life Support (Required) Within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) Within 1 year of hire
