About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our clinical team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs, and perform tasks such as IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law).
  • Apply splints and provide wound care, as well as work directly with point-of-care laboratory equipment.
  • Perform EKGs and assist Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the vehicle is stocked and ready for each shift.
Requirements
  • Medical Technician certification or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
