Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive primary, preventative, and therapeutic health care services to assigned patients in a family practice clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients, including baseline data such as past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, and immunization history.
  • Conduct baby exams, pre-employment physicals, and sports physicals.
  • Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment assessments of active duty personnel.
  • Maintain electronic medical records or patient paper charts to document medical information and treatment procedures.
Requirements
  • A graduate or higher-level degree from an accredited professional nursing educational program in Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools is required for individuals who graduated from foreign nursing schools.
  • A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
