Job Description:
Vighter is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a local contract basis. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, treatments, and patient education.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to achieve patient goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current Missouri license (or multistate for NLC eligible states and positions)
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc. certification as needed per specialty
