Welder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Winholt Equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of welding tasks, including MIG and TIG processes. This is a full-time position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

• Set up and operate welding machines, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• MIG and TIG weld aluminum and stainless steel components, ensuring high-quality results.
• Ensure all work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications, as well as assist in the creation of new procedures.
• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators as needed.
• Assemble items according to instructions from floor supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, taking proper care of equipment and facilities.
• Follow company rules and policies, prioritizing safety and quality above all else.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

• Certification from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
• One year of related experience and/or training is required.
• Experience working with aluminum and/or stainless steel is necessary.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding is essential.
• The ability to lift heavy items consistently (up to 60 pounds) is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are a must.
• A reliable work ethic and strong commitment to quality are essential.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth.
