Millwright Technician

At Industrial Trade Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various industrial settings.

The estimated salary for this position is $28-$30 per hour, with an additional $75 per day per diem for Agricultural Work.

• Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment, such as shaffing, grain bins, conveyors, and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Constructs foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement, and steel.

• A high school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field or a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Ability to work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Application of shop mathematics to solve problems.
