Seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Ironworker to join our team at Long Island Community Hospital's affiliate, LPR. This is an exciting opportunity to work on structural iron and steel projects nationwide.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Journeyman Ironworker with excellent technical skills and experience working on complex steel structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for bolting, welding (3G and 4G), and rigging steel components with precision and speed.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 50 hours per week. The hourly wage is up to $32, and we offer a competitive benefits package, including great career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bolting, Welding, and Rigging: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bolting, welding (3G and 4G), and rigging steel components, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
  • Hoisting and Installation: You will be responsible for hoisting beams and columns with cranes and signal operators, installing safety cables, decks, stairs, and other components with precision and attention to detail.
  • Blueprint Work: A strong understanding of blueprints and ability to fabricate and assemble steel structures according to specifications is essential for this role.
