Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in post-acute settings, including skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and assisted living facilities (ALFs).
- Administer tailored treatments and medications to residents.
- Collaborate with residents and medical teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Set up and monitor medical equipment effectively.
- Discuss care options with residents and their families.
- Consult with physicians and healthcare staff as necessary.
- Collect blood, urine, and other fluid samples for laboratory analysis.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Document interventions and medical histories accurately.
- Assist in investigations of incidents, ensuring proper reporting.
- Provide training and supervision to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of 4 months of experience in post-acute care or inpatient hospital settings.
