Crossing Guard

The Clovis Municipal School District is seeking a qualified Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of students and pedestrians in our community. As a Crossing Guard, you will be responsible for directing traffic and pedestrians at designated school crossings, ensuring a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

• Direct traffic and pedestrians at designated school crossings
• Ensure a safe and orderly flow of traffic
• Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents
• Work collaboratively with school staff and law enforcement to maintain a safe environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

As a Crossing Guard, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
